Description
The exhibition titled "Sewing Colours: Celebrating Stories of Ethnic Minority Women in Hong Kong" had stalls set up to display crafts made by Nepalese and Congolese women to demonstrate their various gifts in sewing, designing, knitting, broidery making. Each product was not just a fine demonstration of the talent of the women, but also the unique stories of their childhood memories, cultural roots, family tradition, and joys and struggles of womanhood.
The exhibition and stalls were originally scheduled to be held from January 7 to 16, 2022 but were cancelled and changed to a Facebook online live event due to the Government's social distancing measures.
