Description

"Social exclusion" refers to the systematic removal by institutions and policies of certain groups and individuals from their full participation in civil society. It has been argued that the laws and policies of Hong Kong with respect to foreign domestic workers go beyond what have been designated as being different (or "special policies") and represent a distinct from injustice. This seminar examined this issue from different perspectives and disciplines, from social activism and photo journalism to political philosophy.
