Philip serves Pan Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute of Lingnan University as the deputy director. With his engineering background, Philip has developed his research interest in facility management, transport planning and policy. He has been leading a team of professional trainers to provide training for the Hong Kong Government's Transport Department since 2009. He has also delivered professional training for the Housing Authority of the Hong Kong Government.
Before his academic career, he worked for Sime Darby Group in China. He specializes in cost control, feasibility analysis and commercial valuation.
Dr. Wong has participated on a number of Traffic Impact Assessment projects (TIA). He provides professional advice about crowd management and road safety.
Dr. Wong is a Certified Facility Manager (CFM), a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a fellow member of The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (FCIHT).
