Biography
南开大学中文系文学学士、文学硕士；复旦大学中文系文学博士；1994-2006年曾任教于北京大学中文系；此后曾担任澳门大学中国文学系代系主任、岭南大学中文系系主任。现为香港岭南大学中文系教授。研究领域为先秦两汉魏晋南北朝之文学史和文学理论批评史，发表专业学术期刊论文100 余篇，出版《史汉研究》等专著，担任 《岭南学报》副主编，《新亚学报》编委，中国古代文学理论学会常务理事，中国文学史料学会古代分会常务理事，曾担任中国《文心雕龙》学会副会长等。
