Biography

I started out researching film and fiction representations of indigenous peoples from Taiwan in a settler society context, but am now interested in indigenous translation studies as a distinct sub-field of minority translation studies. For which Im working on Seediq in Taiwan as a case study. I am also a literary translator and a freelance translator, and translation teacher. Im from Edmonton, Canada, but have made my life in East Asia.
