Prof Voon Thomas obtained his PhD from LaTrobe University (Australia) in 1991. Prior to joining Lingnan University in 1994, he taught at Griffith University, Deakin University, and the University of Ballarat. He had also worked as a consultant to the Commonwealth Scientific Industrial and Research Organisation (CSIRO), Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA), and Kerry Logistics (Hong Kong). Prof Voon specializes in Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), Public Finance, Agricultural Economics and the Chinese Economy.
