Biography

Ka Chun Lin is the founder of Men of Winds. He currently serves as a part-time lecturer at a tertiary institution in Hong Kong. His research areas are diverse, including Hong Kong music history, wind band studies, cultural policies, music and politics, as well as idol culture studies. His research findings have been published in various international academic journals and publications, and he has presented at international academic conferences. He is also a reviewer for international academic journals. Lin has received research funding from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council for the " Thematic Research on Hong Kong Music Development." Additionally, he has been appointed as an examiner for the music section of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
