Biography

Michal is an Associate Professor and a global citizen with a diverse background. As a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE), Michal has taught 35 undergraduate and master-level Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics and Econometrics courses in the UK, China, Hong Kong and the Middle East. He has also successfully supervised over 70 bachelor's and master's theses. His teaching interests span various topics, including Financial Management, Corporate Finance, International Finance, and Financial Institutions & Markets. Michal's research has been published in leading academic journals such as the European Journal of Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions and Money, Journal of Environmental Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Finance and Economics, and Financial Innovation. Beyond academia, Michal enjoys lifting hefty weights, hiking and exploring the world with his wife and two kids (Lily and Michael Jr).
