Biography
Michał is an Associate Professor and a global citizen with 13 years of teaching experience across disciplines and regions. A Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) and SEDA-Recognised Leader in Technology-Enhanced Learning, he has taught Finance, Economics, Risk Management, and Econometrics at institutions in the UK, China, Hong Kong, and the Middle East.
He published over 30 peer-reviewed papers which, inter alia, address 11 of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Michał’s work has appeared in leading journals, including Energy Economics, The European Journal of Finance, JIFMIM, JEM, and TFSC.
Equally committed to impactful, learner-centred education, Michał has received multiple teaching awards and consistently ranks among the highest-rated instructors in student evaluations. His international teaching experience and professional recognition underscore his dedication to inclusive, high-quality pedagogy and innovation in curriculum design.
Outside academia, he enjoys lifting hefty weights, hiking, and exploring the world with his wife and two children, Lily and Michael Jr.
