A dedicated teacher of Chinese language, an active researcher in Chinese linguistics, Senior Lecturer at CLEAC of Lingnan University, Adjunct Professor at Institute of Linguistics, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi'an, China.
Reviewer of Journal of Chinese Linguistics (established at UC Berkeley in 1973), Language and Linguistics (Academia Sinica), Current Research in Chinese Linguistics (CUHK), Journal of Chinese Literature and Culture (Lingnan U), International Journal of Chinese Language Education (EDUHK).
陝西師範大學中文系『國家文科基礎學科人才培養與科研基地班』文學學士、碩士，南京大學中文系文學博士。研究領域涉及漢語語音史、方言學、實驗語音學、港式中文語法及語言教學。在《語言學論叢》《漢語學報》《古漢語研究》《嶺南學報》等核心期刊發表論文數十篇。
