Prof. Chen earned her B.A. from Shandong University and finished her Ph.D. at Hong Kong Lingnan University. Her research interests include cooperative and competitive relationships, Chinese values for effective management, conflict management, cross-cultural leadership and cross-cultural management in joint ventures. She has co-authored one book on conflict management in China and published research articles in international journals including Journal of International Management, Journal of Management studies, International Journal of Conflict Management, International Journal of Intercultural Relations, etc. Before joining Lingnan, she had worked in the business field for several years. Her commercial experiences have enhanced her teaching and research effectiveness.
