Prof Niranjana’s award-winning project is entitled “Musicophilia and publicness in Mumbai: A new approach to cultural analysis”. Her project proposal is one of only 5 successful proposals among the 21 applications in the 2017/18 round of this prestigious scheme from all the eight UGC-funded universities.
