Project Details
Description
This project will explore and support urban climate experiments in cities across the Philippines and Vietnam - two countries at the forefront of climate vulnerability in Southeast Asia. Through extensive fieldwork and engagement, we aim to produce outputs that detail urban climate experiments underway and amplify the voices of communities driving grassroots solutions. Moreover, we will co-design and initiate urban climate experiments alongside marginalised communities, fostering local ownership and leadership in developing sustainable and transformative solutions. These experiments aim to enable socially inclusive actions supporting urban resilience to climate change, empower marginalised communities to innovate for sustainable futures, while catalysing structural changes in how cities can be managed to prioritise community aspirations and priorities.
