宗族春秋二祭

「宗族春秋二祭」是香港新界宗族的傳統祭祖儀式。每逢農曆二月、三月及九月、春分和秋分，不少宗族的成員會穿上長衫，齊聚祠堂或祖先墓地，向祖先奉上祭品，焚香叩拜，並誦讀祝文和祖先教誨，寄託哀思。新界宗族至今仍保存着這項歷史悠久的傳統風俗，秉承了儒家的孝道文化精神。

這項源遠流長的傳統，於2017 年獲列入香港非物質文化遺產代表作名錄。本書聚焦宗族春秋二祭的歷史流變，並以圖文並茂的方式輔以手繪插圖呈現祭祀儀式，述及其傳承體系和背後所承載的文化意義。

<eng>The "Ancestral Clan Spring and Autumn Sacrifices" is a traditional ancestral worship ceremony practiced by clans in the New Territories of Hong Kong. During the lunar months of February, March, and September, as well as on the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes, many clan members gather at ancestral halls or gravesites to offer sacrifices to their ancestors. They burn incense, kowtow, recite prayers and ancestral teachings, expressing their reverence and remembrance. The clans of the New Territories continue to preserve this time-honored custom, upholding the Confucian cultural spirit of filial piety.

This long-standing tradition was inscribed on the Hong Kong Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2017. This book focuses on the historical evolution of the Spring and Autumn Sacrifices, presenting the ritual ceremonies with richly illustrated hand-drawn images, and discusses the system of inheritance and the cultural significance embodied in these practices.
