工作不安全感与健康:社会支持和休闲的作用

Abstract

工作不安全感是目前工作场所中受到普遍关注的一种压力源,会严重影响员工的身心健康。本研究旨在探讨工作不安全感与员工身心健康的关系,以及员工的社会支持及休闲活动在其中的调节作用。本研究采用大样本的抽样调查数据,有效样本为6750。通过层级回归的方法对数据进行分析,结果发现:(1)工作不安全感与员工的身心健康呈显著的负相关;(2)社会支持对工作不安全感与员工身心健康之间的关系具有显著的调节作用;(3)休闲活动对工作不安全感与员工身心健康之间的关系具有显著的调节作用。这就表明,员工的社会支持、休闲活动都能够帮助员工有效应对工作不安全感的威胁,降低工作不安全感的消极作用,从而保持较高的身心健康水平。
Job insecurity has been considered as one of the prominent job stressors in the current workplace, which can cause serious health problems to employees.The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between job insecurity and employees’ well-being, and with, the focus on moderating effects of social support and leisure behavior among the process.Data from 6750 employees with diverse backgrounds were collected by self-report questionnaire. A series of hierarchical regression analyses were conducted for data analyses.The results revealed that:(!) the negative relationship between job insecurity and employees’ well-being was significant;(2) social support: moderated the relationship linking job insecurity to well-being;(3) leisure behavior moderated the relationship linking job insecurity to well-being.That is to say, social support and leisure behavior, as effective coping strategies, could help employee maintain a high level of physical and mental health when facing serious job insecurity.
