Abstract

一位從事策展的朋友曾說過一個笑話,古巴裔藝術家菲利克斯.岡薩雷斯-托雷斯(Félix González-Torres)的糖果裝置在紐約大都會美術館宏偉的挑高空間以及古典風格的展廳展出的時候,美術館的訪客只遠遠地看著它而不敢輕舉妄動,這個作品竟然失去了它透過分享與消費來成全進行中的(processual) 與消逝性(ephemeral)行為裝置的原意;1 反之,紐約新美術館的氣氛顯得太過輕鬆,她宣稱曾見過在展覽空間中大方「野餐」的民眾。第二個故事的真實性不得而知,然而提出了一個角度,即美術館的空間極度影響了行為性(performative)的作品如何被詮釋、觀看、消費甚至於歷史化的方式。
