論思想的闡釋方式與同源詞的認定

借助出土文獻提供的信息，我們可以看到先秦儒家是如何闡釋“誠”“聖”“樂”“慎獨”等重要思想。在先秦的儒家著作中，存在着一種特殊的闡釋方法：思想的推闡，不是直接通過對真實世界的思考，或者通過邏輯的推衍而展開，而是通過詞語在音義上的相關性而產生的聯想。甚至同一個字，在一個上下文中，可以表示兩個詞。這種詞語的關聯，有語音相關，也有語義相關，跟它們是否同源詞關係不大。我們腦中的詞義系統，早已是被我們的文化清洗過了的系統，而且可能一直都在被洗着。所謂的同源詞，本質上是一種文化的概念，而不是語言學的概念。

<eng>By utilizing information from unearthed documents, we can see how pre-Qin Confucianism expounded important ideas such as "sincerity," "sagehood," "joy," and "self-discipline in solitude." A unique method of interpretation exists in pre-Qin Confucian works: the exposition of ideas does not unfold directly through reflection on the real world or through logical deduction, but rather through associations arising from the phonetic and semantic connections between words. Even the same character can represent two words in a single context. These connections between words are related both phonetically and semantically, but have little to do with whether they are cognates. Our semantic system has long been cleansed by our culture, and may still be constantly being cleansed. So-called cognates are essentially a cultural concept, not a linguistic one.
