Abstract
隨著網路頻寬及多媒體技術的發展，隨選視訊系統（Video on Demand System）已成為現今互聯網上最有效的傳送視像的方式。本文主要闡述嶺南大學鄺森活圖書館如何在香港教育界首先應用隨選視訊系統發展及建立本地電視節目資料庫，供讀者使用。
With the rapid development of multimedia and network technologies, Video on Demand (VOD) has become one of the most popular and effective ways to deliver audiovisual services on the Internet. Using practical examples, this paper presents how Lingnan University Library develops its Local TV Programmes Database with digital video and VOD technologies.
