Abstract
With recent advancement in computational deep learning, the accuracy of facial recognition technology has improved significantly and incited massive applications in individual, corporate and national levels. The art project, Bodhi’s Phase Shift captures some fluxes of contemporary and imminent facial recognition applications in China, which may generate some new interpretations to one’s facial identity.
