Abstract
阿尔贝·加缪不仅是20世纪为数不多的杰出悲剧理论家之一,而且还在悲剧创作领域里成就斐然。在理论方面,他试图改造黑格尔"两善对峙"的冲突论,强调自由的个人与荒谬的生存环境之间的不协调。在创作方面,他同样坚持以个人生命为本,反对极端形式的暴力。他通过一系列生动的舞台形象,向观众揭示暴力的两面性,这在世界恐怖主义蔓延的今天仍有重要解读意义。
Albert Camus was not only a theorist of tragedy but also an outstanding practitioner of tragic drama. As a theorist, he proposed to modify Hegel’s tragic “collision between two goods” by emphasizing the disharmony between a free individual and the absurd environment in which he or she lives. As a creative writer, he advocates individual life in opposition to any form of extreme violence. What he tries to present to his audience, through various characters on stage, is the dual nature of violence, which resonates with the contemporary world where terrorism has become rampant.
