Abstract

This chapter examines the changing nature of China's relations with the two Koreas in order to demonstrate that the 1990s have seen a significant shift in the pattern of China's interactions with these two neighbors. However, as recent developments suggest, China's dilemma over how to deal with these two powers has by no means been solved.
