Abstract

First, it is impossible to capture and write all about the anti-colonial Asian movements into a handbook, as it is currently home to 59.05% of the world’s population (worldometer 2024), and it is a vast territory of 17 million miles of landmass with 49 nation-states. However, in this piece are decolonial renditions from scholars who labored to reflect the horrible past that exists in the present and continue to obscure the imagination of a future among colonized citizens. The compendium provides understanding the praxeology of decoloniality. By praxeology we refer to the dialectics between the theory and the practice—of historical epistemology and epistemological history of anti-colonial resistance. It is replete of the ramifications of the geopolitical and geoeconomic institutionalism, of decolonial public policy, decolonial entrepreneurship, popular culture, of the plight of women and their contribution to anti-colonial struggles, and the decolonial theologies of institutions and social movements.
