Abstract

Translation and interpreting (T&I) are forms of inter-lingual and cross-cultural communication involving the rendition of written texts or oral speeches from one language to another. As special forms of communication and mediation with the task of inter-lingual and cross-cultural reproduction of discourse, translation and interpreting present fertile research areas for discourse analysis.
