Abstract

Complex period-doubling bifurcation and tangent bifurcation exist in the DCM buck converter with the different feedback gain. The stability of the DCM buck converter is enhanced by employing a chaotic controller in the system. Moreover, the border collision bifurcation occurs at certain values of the feedback gain in the DCM buck converter. Based on the first-order discrete iterative map, the bifurcation diagrams and the corresponding Lyapunov exponent diagrams are obtained from the numerical simulation based on the discrete iterative map. The effectiveness of the chaos controller is verified by the simulation results.
