Abstract

The chapter introduces an AI-integrated corpus platform designed to enhance translation teaching by combining the strengths of corpora and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). The platform integrates AI capabilities with corpus resources to provide innovative functions such as corpus-based translation equivalence, reference translations, errors correction, translation feedback, and personalized AI assistant. A key feature is its ability to adapt to diverse instructional needs while supporting both learners and educators in task-based translation environments. The chapter discusses the platform’s design and details the usages of each interface. Based on the framework of task-based learning cycle, the chapter demonstrates how the platform can be effectively applied into each phase of translation instruction: pre-task preparation, task execution, reporting, analysis, revision, and reflection. The AI-integrated corpus platform offers several key advantages for translation education in terms of instructional methods, learning objectives, and technological support. By analyzing both the pedagogical benefits and the broader implications of integrating GenAI with corpus resources, this chapter offers practical and insightful guidance for educators, aiming to enhance translation instruction in an evolving educational landscape.
