Abstract

This paper focuses on the research of the integrated health and social care model in Gaozhou City. China is experiencing severe aging, and stroke, being a major cause of death and disability, poses great challenges to pension security. Gaozhou City, with a high - aging population and a large number of elderly, has limited nursing home beds. The integrated health and social care model has emerged to address these issues. Currently, the model in Gaozhou is in the initial exploration stage, facing numerous constraints. This study summarizes the domestic and foreign practical experience of the integrated health and social care model, analyzes the local service environment, and puts forward policy recommendations. It has both academic significance, such as promoting resource allocation based on relevant theories, and practical significance, including providing a reference for similar regions, promoting the model's development, and supporting the construction of Gaozhou's integrated health and social care system.
