Abstract

The complex inter-relationships between Japan and the two Koreas are thoroughly assessed in this authoritative new book, which concentrates upon developments since the late 1980s and the prospects for the 1990s. Japan and Korea in the 1990s examines the historical legacies, the current perceptions and the policy making processes. It then details the recent trends in the economic, political-strategic and cultural dimensions of the relationships.
