Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have emerged as a significant concern in the fields of marketing and management. However, there is limited knowledge on how to effectively guide marketers and managers in implementing strategies that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes. This study explores the moderating roles of Company Creating Shared Value (CSV) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on public perceptions of the SDGs and the reputation of companies. Data from surveys conducted in mainland China was gathered to analyse how the public's views on the SDGs impact company reputations and how these effects can be enhanced through companies' involvement in CSV and CSR initiatives. The findings will offer insights for international firms targeting the Chinese market.
