Abstract
We theorize a dual-process model that explains the dynamic construction of entrepreneurial identity. We examine this dual-process model using a ten-wave longitudinal data collected from forty-one entrepreneurs over five months. Results suggested that entrepreneurial progress had a positive effect on subsequent entrepreneurial identity through both entrepreneurial passion and entrepreneurial effort.
