Abstract

The aim of this paper is three-fold: (a) to provide an overview of the institutional-legal structure of the WTO, (b) the key provisions of the new trade agreement, including its effectiveness and limitations and (c) to what extent the WTO promotes economic multilateralism and trade liberalization, in particular, its impact on developing countries.
