Abstract
The global marketplace, technological changes, and other factors are encouraging companies to be more competitive. This means that companies are trying to satisfy customers with quality products and services[l]. These changes are having a great impact on numerous companies in their approaches to achieving excellence and distinctive competitive advantages. Today, many companies view Total Quality Management(TQM) as a useful approach[2]. Therefore, quality is becoming the most important strategic issue facing top management in the 1990s[3]. In fact, there is considerable evidence indicating a strong relationship between quality and profitability from the Profit Impact of Marketing Strategies.
