Abstract

In this paper, I am going to share some background information of the Institutions of Higher Education and Academic Libraries in Hong Kong, perspectives of book buyers, students and academics on e-books, the change of collection development policy when libraries include or add e-books in their Library collection, e-book purchasing models offered by vendors for academic libraries in Hong Kong and those new challenge librarians encounter in e-books acquisition and management.
